I started doing Luna Jubilee's 52 Weeks of Color Challenge on my own blog this year and I've managed to do most week's colors. I enjoy it because I get to go through my bursting inventory and put together looks as well as enjoying seeing what other people have done. Here's how it works: Luna publishes a color the week before and then the following week you put together a look based on the color. You can use as much or as little of the color as you wish. No one is going to judge you - it's all for fun. Once you have completed your post you link it back to Luna's post for that color (she always posts hers on Sunday). I think it is a great way for new bloggers to get started for a few reasons: You can use as much of what you already own, you don't have to be on all the feeds, you can gain exposure and you immediately become part of a larger group of enthusiastic bloggers if you are interested as there is an in-world group that is free to join.
The ever generous Pixieplumb Flanagan from Baby Monkey is offering her group members 50% off all shoes in specially designated venders that match or closely compliment the color of the week. The group is only 10 L to join and if you activate your group tag you can pick up a whole bunch of shoes in the special color. She has already put out next week's color, Seashell Peachwhich is a tricky one as it is almost white. This is on top of all the group gifts she already gives and specials on new releases. Have fun with the challenge!
