Sileny lies! Bright colors are not over. I am a fanatic stickler about no white shoes after Labor Day but today I'm siding with good old Nicki Minaj as covered by my second favorite ANTM judge, Andre Leon Talley, on Vogue Daily and continuing the pre-fall color show.  Heaven knows I can shop with the best of them (ask my friends) but today I found so many inexpensive goodies from some of my favorite designers!

Deal Me In

There is an insanely easy hunt over at LeeZu for group members.  The group is free to join and the hunt took me at the most an enjoyable hour to find 12 playing cards.  The details on how to do the hunt are in group notices but essentially you collect the cards from different areas of the store and then turn them in to redeem one of 4 fantastic prizes.  You can chose from the Miriam or Virage dress, Robin Jeans or like I did, the Margo jacket shown above.  I've been drooling over this jacket since it was released and it is impeccable.  LeeZu took the time to add really special details such as the shadowing effect on the chest straps which makes it especially realistic.  I am beyond impressed by this piece.  At the end of the hunt one lucky winner will also receive a Grand Prize of 5000 Ls and 2 items from the NOIR collection.

I was also wowed by the latest group gift from LeLutka.  The Hadley skin comes in 5 tones with a wonderfully subtle makeup.  I really like the minimalist effect of this makeup and am getting ready to throw some lala's their way after this lovely sample.

Cupcakes Spring Egg Hunt

You must hop over to the Cupcakes sim by Monday for the Spring Hunt.  Cupcakes has an all new look that is cute heaven.  Cupcakes has 18 eggs for you to find and several of the anchor stores have either eggs or opening gifts to celebrate!  A.D.D. Andel and Sanu have moved their mainstores to Cupcakes, which totally ups the cute factor (make sure you check out the yards in the back of the store while you hunt).  The eggs are scattered all over the sim and the ever generous Mimi Coral and Rosemary Galbraith of Cupcakes have included skins, dresses, lingeries and tanks in their eggs.  Eight of the cupcake eggs contain skins in different tones.  A quick note about the skins:  The skins do not have the old style brows but utilize tattoo layers. Those are not in the eggs but you can get free ones by the Enigma skins (get them from all three venders so you have the correct tones).

Bodyline released a new beautiful skin called Uzuri and sent a special gift skin to the group. It comes in teeth and regular versions. Join Bodyline - updates (200L join fee) and check notices. There's also another skin that will disappear from notices after tomorrow!

Some other things worth noting is the Exile Darla 40L hair at TDR Blue, it comes in all colors too, and comes with hairbase (I'm wearing it below).
