Gifties and More Charity Gownage!

Gownage isn't a word, I know. BUT AWESOME IS.  So have a peek at an awesome gown from Eclectic Firefly which is an awesome donation item with proceeds going to the awesome Relay For Life charity.  Yep, three awesomes in that sentence.  Because giving to charity is awesome x3.  I also want to note that the studio box I am using is on the Marketplace for only 199L from Kamrek Creations and has FORTY-SEVEN different texture options so check it out! 

On the freebie front we have this adorable crown in the notices of the December update group.  I love all the little details and the color of it especially.  My skin is new from Matrioska and isn't free but I am all about supporting new skin brands, especially those that cater to the spooky in any way! 

These adorable little cups and leather boxes are a group gift in notices from BP.  I love this store and would buy everything in the store to make my own little entirely BP house if I had more land than my Linden home in which to put any of it. xD

4 years of anything in SL represents like 28 bajillion dog years (give or take), i.e., something of a mad epic achievement. Your Granny is a Star

December has these AMAZING glasses for free as a group gift.  The glasses have color and opacity changes for the frames, lenses, jewels, etc.  They can be worn on the face or on top of the had.  They have bling/glow/shine/jewel on or off options.  They are basically customizable to the max.  And did I mention they are free?  Yes, free.  This is one of the best gifts I have seen in a while!  Thank you MandyMandy!

While the glasses can be worn with an opaque lenses for a rock star look, with colored frames and lenses for a trendy look and more, I thought it would be fun to wear them over sized with the brown frames and semi-opaque lenses for a sort of fabulous retro grandma look. xD  The free texture testers from Lamb had the prefect gray to compliment that style.  I'm not even sure if these texture testers are meant to be worn out but hey, they come in all colors, are an adorable bob, and are free.  So yay!  And what fancy grandma goes without lots of jewelry?  None that I know of!  So grab the free set from Donna Flora to fill that need.

Virtual Easter

Around this time, I get flash backs of when I was a little girl my mother always bought me a pretty dress, shoes, & accessories for Easter every year. Now that I am "grown up" & have one of my own (a son) I can't help but to feel that I have to dress up - throw on a nice collar shirt with nicely polished shoes on my son. Today however, for me, didn't go as planned. In other words, it sucked. My plans of taking my son to the parade here in NYC were ruined & my mom is on vacation in the Dominican Republic (I wish that was me right now!) so I couldn't rebound & go to her place. *Sighs* At least I have Second Life, right?
