Happy 2012 Free*Stylers! I'm kicking off the new year in some comfy threads, this time in the form of a free striped mesh T-shirt + this free scrumptiously-textured giraffe hat that I put together in this darker neutrals look for y'all today. I'm also wearing the luscious caramel-hued free subscribo gift hair by Exile, already much-blogged but shown here 'cuz it's 1 of my fave "shortie" styles to date (the gentle hair "part" just above the back nape area is sooo naturally done). Also, I wanted to tell all you accessory fiends about this elegant purse: it will be $1L in a beautiful caramel light brown by PRISS for the FTLO scavenger hunt that Eden mentioned in her post below (this darker chocolate brown color here was the free Xmas gift in a darker brown, in case you were lucky enough to grab it). Be sure to get the free strawberry-toned clutch still hanging on the wall too!

The non-frees in this look include a ruched miniskirt that's part of a new "color blocked" dress (very on trend in RL) by DCNY + some sinfully sheer star-print tights new by Mstyle (I'm showing the brown color here, but you can grab the "Cerise" pink-red tone, which is discreetly set on the vendor display to $1L).

Your Granny is a Star

December has these AMAZING glasses for free as a group gift.  The glasses have color and opacity changes for the frames, lenses, jewels, etc.  They can be worn on the face or on top of the had.  They have bling/glow/shine/jewel on or off options.  They are basically customizable to the max.  And did I mention they are free?  Yes, free.  This is one of the best gifts I have seen in a while!  Thank you MandyMandy!

While the glasses can be worn with an opaque lenses for a rock star look, with colored frames and lenses for a trendy look and more, I thought it would be fun to wear them over sized with the brown frames and semi-opaque lenses for a sort of fabulous retro grandma look. xD  The free texture testers from Lamb had the prefect gray to compliment that style.  I'm not even sure if these texture testers are meant to be worn out but hey, they come in all colors, are an adorable bob, and are free.  So yay!  And what fancy grandma goes without lots of jewelry?  None that I know of!  So grab the free set from Donna Flora to fill that need.
